LITCHI LY FRIEDRICH
Germany/Vietnam

Litchi (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist, in the realms of dance, critical theory and activism. She is a member of the Iconic House of Saint Laurent, an active member of the Ballroom community & founding member of the collective With the Rubblles of Old Palaces .
Mostly focusing on New Way at the moment, she‘s gone through Hip Hop and Breaking before finding her home within Voguing & by extension Ballroom culture. Though learning from workshops within contemporary dance & other dance forms, she understands her learning & growing as a dancer to happen within community trainings & events, outside institutioned arts education. Being part of the Ballroom community, she understands her contribution as a community organiser & position in a constant push for decolonial & intersectional thinking & practicing.
This happens through working cross boundary with the community (Wedding Renaissance) & institutions (Deutsches Hygiene Museum) and within the popular media realm (Nura x Nike) for example.
Her work always involves a critical outlook to deconstruct norms, especially those who are a disservice to marginalised peoples, within academic & theoretical frameworks. Currently she is moving her focus on creative rituals, especially through dance, to uplift & celebrate the multiplicities of diasporic peoples & dwell further into her own ancestry & histories.
Born & raised in Leipzig, she‘s spent a few years in London, where she started to merge art & activism with the collective „Video Vexens“ before coming to Berlin.

KAMERON MITCHELL LOCKE
USA

Kameron Locke (he/him) is a classical singer & research-based artist who expresses what he defines as the “Facets of Blackness” through music, performance, study & community work.
Locke navigates cultural, community & academic spaces as a socially-conscious performer, educator & musicologist. As an interpreter of Western art song, he performs in recital music solely by those from the Rising Majority communities, Black, Brown & ethnically-diverse. Locke’s self-curated recital series Unseen and Unheard evolved from his research on Afro-diasporic Western classical music composers. Additionally, he is an avid chorister with his last engagement as a tenor for the London Symphony Chorus until February 2020.
He focuses on representation & equity from within these spaces & engages with creative approaches to achieve this. Locke successfully crafts opportunities for untapped communities: through his Classical Inclusion, an after-school initiative in Chicago that offered a creative approach to the arts to youth from low socioeconomic backgrounds; with The Village, a music recording workshop series for Goldsmiths University LGBTQ+ students of color & as a founder of Black Art Action Berlin (BAAB), a collective of Black artists who create community by empowering Black voices through art, collaboration & activism. Locke is dedicated to this work, creating necessary spaces & using his voice as a vehicle. His goal is for all to have equal access to & visibility in the arts.
Born & raised in Chicago, Locke recently settled in Berlin after a fulfilling stint in London.

Krystsina Faleeva (BLR)

Movement artist and masseuse from Belarus based in Berlin. She is trained as a street dancer of hip-hop, house, popping and krump.
“In 2018 me and my friend organized small festival of performative art in Havana, Cuba.
I was amazed by the fact how well people can communicate with their bodies as we didn’t speak common language. It changed a lot in my way of performing. When I perform i like to connect with the
people around. To welcome them into my world and share the energy. Dance is the language, medicine, meditation, trance, unstoppable river and adventure for me.”
